What it is
The Giatsu LION is an aerothermal heat pump designed exclusively for swimming pools. It extracts heat from outdoor air and transfers it to pool water through a titanium heat exchanger resistant to chlorine and salt. Its DC Inverter compressor and fan automatically adjust output to the pool's actual demand, achieving a COP above 12. Uses R32 refrigerant (low environmental impact), includes built-in Wi-Fi for remote control via the GIApp or voice assistants (Alexa, Google Home), and connects to your existing filtration circuit without additional construction.
Who it's for
Pool owners who would swim more if the water weren't cold — especially in May, October and November. Ideal if you already have or are considering solar panels, as the pool is the perfect daytime load to use your surplus. The LION is available in 4 capacities (6.8 to 19 kW) for pools from 20 to 90 m³.

The DC Inverter compressor amplifies that heat and transfers it to pool water through a titanium heat exchanger. 3. The unit installs inline with the filtration circuit, after the filter — no additional construction required. 4. A built-in thermostat maintains the target temperature (26-28°C) automatically, with programmable timer. 5. From the GIApp you can monitor, schedule operation and receive real-time alerts.
