What it is
An aerotermia hot-water unit (also called an HPWH) sits where your old electric tank or gas boiler did and serves the showers and taps. It runs on electricity but uses outdoor heat as its main fuel — typically 4× more efficient than a resistive heater.
Who it's for
Owners on bottled gas, an old electric tank, or a noisy boiler who want a quieter, cheaper, drop-in replacement without rewiring the whole house.

1. The outdoor unit captures thermal energy from the air — even on cold days (the Mitsubishi Ecodan Zubadan works down to -30 °C). 2. The compressor concentrates the heat via a refrigerant circuit (R290 in Haier, R32 in Mitsubishi). 3. The heat exchanger transfers the energy to the water tank (200–300 L for Haier Super Aqua). 4. Hot water is stored and available on demand for showers, taps and kitchen use.
